Industrial Agent – Dubai

Based in our Dubai office, the Investment and Commercial Agency department is looking to recruit an Industrial Agent to be responsible for managing all leasing and sale mandates within the Industrial sector.

You will report directly to the Head of Investment and Commercial Agency and manage all client meetings and property viewings within the Industrial sector. You will be responsible for developing new business proposals and follow-up materials, such as lease comparisons, market overviews and prospect or client presentations. You will also provide clients with industry and market-specific information and maintain contact information on prospects as well as updating database and activities on our on-line platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client meetings, property viewings and new business presentations for the industrial sector.
• Prepare new business proposals, industrial sector option documents and create new business presentations.
• Advise clients on strategic alternatives (e.g., costs of operating, closure, restructure, subleasing) regarding a particular location or group of locations.
• Proactively identify and scope out new clients, negotiate landlord contributions and/or remodelling concessions.
• Prepare written valuation advice, marketing advice, heads of terms, and property marketing media including emails, brochures, details, press releases and technical advice for potential tenants.
• Competently keep track of work in progress and maintain interest schedules for landlord clients.
• Review and analyse clients’ quantitative industrial location data, legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
• Develop follow-up materials for clients (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect or client presentations, coordinate information with other departments and agents/surveyors as needed).
• Conduct research, collect information and assemble materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis in the industrial sector.
• Maintain and update all property portals with accurate verified listings.
• Maintain and update Cavendish Maxwell’s CRM system for all client accounts, new contacts, leads, opportunities and inventory.
• Participate in team meetings and weekly meetings to update colleagues on leasing and sales activity in the industrial sector, market information, new business generating efforts, prospects and market knowledge and trends.
• Where required, attend Client meetings and provide occupational market advice for Investment acquisitions and disposals, working closely with the Investment team.

• Ensure that all administrative duties are fulfilled on assignments undertaken (such as issuing of proposals, terms of engagement, no disclosure agreements, invoices, debt recovery) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in the Group business referral scheme to promote other services and Group business development.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in industrial agency/brokerage  
• Extensive knowledge of the Dubai real estate market and a proven track record in sales and leasing in the Industrial sector.
• In depth understanding of Freezone processes and regulations
• Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• UAE driving licence and available vehicle.
• MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
