Cavendish Maxwell’s Q1 2019 UAE Property Market Report indicated that hotel room occupancy rates declined from 86.1% in February 2018 to 83.5% as of February 2019, according to figures from STR Global. The current trend of downward pressure on
occupancy levels and average daily rates (ADRs) is also expected to continue into 2019.
Emaar Hospitality Group is the official Hospitality and Hotel Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai. The new hotel openings are part of its plans in supporting Dubai Tourism’s strategy to attract 25 million visitors by 2025.
