Middle Eastern property consultancy Cavendish Maxwell has added a quartet of new hires to its team.
P.P. Varghese, Siraj Ahmed, Abbas Junejo and Shyam Panchal have all become part of Cavendish Maxwell’s strategy and consulting team, focused on providing real estate advisory services to clients across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, education, hospitality, and leisure and entertainment.
Appointed a partner and head of Cavendish Maxwell’s strategy and consulting team, P.P. Varghese brings over 17 years of experience in the field to the firm. He joins from rival Knight Frank, where he was a partner in its Real Estate Advisory Services arm. earlier in his career, he among others served Big Four giant PwC across two spells, Colliers International and TRI Hospitality Consulting.
His expertise spans development planning and strategy, cost-benefit analysis, operational reviews and monitoring, hotel operator search and negotiations, as well as arbitration support and dispute resolution for hotel management agreements.
Also joining from Knight Frank is Siraj Ahmed, appointed an Associate Partner. Over the past decade, which further includes spells at JLL and a large UAE-based construction group, Ahmed has undertaken projects involving urban regeneration, retail consulting, and labour accommodation planning to local property developers, master developers, investment funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Ahmed specialises in market research, financial feasibility studies, highest and best use studies, and master plan support across the GCC.
The two other joiners are Abbas Junejo (Consultant) and Shyam Panchal (Analyst). They both obtained their master’s degrees at leading universities outside the GCC, and will support Varghese and Ahmed with consultancy work.
